Family unity and the sale of home

    Hi DAB family. I’m requesting prayer for my family. Our youngest daughter is expecting a baby in November. She is 17 and unwed. We have shown support for her throughout this time. Our family is still rebounding from an extended separation which led to divorce this past fall, 2019. My daughter needs to draw near to the Lord but has chosen to focus on “hypocrisies” in the church instead of a relationship with Christ. Pray for a continued healthy pregnancy; that our daughter would come to know Christ if she isn’t saved, and if she is to recognize her need for a relationship with Him which is an intentional choice and a choice to forgive and let go of the past hurts. We have seven children, and our 17 year old is the youngest. Her pregnancy and desire to move out on her own from her Mom’s has caused division among her siblings. We are in the middle of preparing our house for sale. I have a lot of work to do. Have been dreading this but it is time. I have strong support from friends at church! And I have a peaceful relationship with my wife (still hard for me to refer to her as my ex-wife). And I have healed much, but have had difficulty with lust again lately. Pray I’ll use the tools God has shown me/equipped me to fight strong and remain victorious. Thanks! RD in the Midwest

    Abba Father! How You love RD and his family! Open the eyes of this dear daughter to see You, O Lord, and put her trust in You. Grant that the family heal from the divorce and allow each member to put their trust in You. Thank You Father, for the strong support from friends. O Lord, how we need community in times of stress. Give RD the strength to endure and purpose for his task. Praise Your Name!

    Father in heaven, I pray for total healing for RD’s family. May they all grow stronger in the love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Give them grace to forgive each other. These are very difficult times. Thank you Lord that believers can stand together with their sins forgiven and with grace toward those who struggle with weaknesses. Thank you that you allow us all into the family, the body of Christ when we realize we can not pay the penalty for the sins that separate us from a holy God. Only Christ could pay the price. Then comes the growing which is different for each of us. Keep RD in the Word. Keep him strong in loving You. Bless him with all he needs to live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus name
