October 10, 2020 at 1:03 amBe encouraged, Caleb. We all from time to time get anxious. We need to follow the instructions that Paul the Apostle wrote to the Philippians. In chapter 4:, verse six. He says 6). be careful for nothing. “Or, don’t be full of care”. Then he gives us the remedy, But in every thing BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. 7). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The Apostle Peter, encourages us in 1 Pet, 5:7; By saying, 7). Casting all your care upon Him; (Jesus) for He careth for you.
Being anxious, is also connected to worry. And worry, is connected to fear. Fear, is the opposite of faith. When we yield to care, and worry, our faith is hindered. And if we tolerate fear in our lives, long enough. Our faith can be hindered to the point where it is unproductive. This is why, we are admonished to as soon as we are aware that we are getting into care. That we should cast the care onto Jesus, and let Him in turn, give us His peace. The enemy will constantly endeavor to get us into care. He knows, that if he can cause us to worry. Then our faith won’t be as productive. And we’ll have trouble believing God for anything. Because it takes faith to please God, Our adversary, will do his best to make us anxious, and yield to worry. When we worry, we aren’t doing ourselves any good. and we are less likely to be of much help to anyone else.
The point of all of this is, when we feel anxious. Best, if we go to God, and cast it onto Him. The trick is to leave it there, and not go back and pick it up again. If your like i am, you’ll need to do this repeatedly throughout the day. I’m still working on this one. I haven’t quite gotten it down yet. But praise! God. He is merciful, and longsuffering, and full of grace.
Father, bless my brother. Help him to roll all of his care upon You. and with prayer, and more prayer, with supplication with thanksgiving. Let him make his requests known unto You. And You will keep him in perfect peace.
In Jesus name. Amen!

October 10, 2020 at 8:56 amFather in heaven, I pray your blessings upon Caleb. You have opened his eyes to desire Your help. Give him strength to choose peace, and the soft answer that turns away wrath, and patience with the short comings of others, and a quiet place when he is too tired to interact with the rest of the family. Strengthen him in the Word. Plant the verses that help deep in his heart. We know he does not want his son to learn harmful behavior. Help him count to ten, look to you do what ever You give him to overcome anger. His family looks to him for a lot of answers. Only you have the answers. Help him trust You and be confident that You are guiding him correctly thru each day. Give him that extra hug that shows him you are there. Help his family back off if they are pushy. May they each tend to their own responsibilities. Bless Ian with a co-operative spirit to pick up his share of the chores on a regular basis and do them well. In Jesus name
