Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift this prayer request to you. We thank you Lord for who you are. Lord, you are the Alpha and Omega; The Beginning and The End. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. ~Psalm 34:17-20 ESV. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 ESV. My friend, don’t be discouraged but be encouraged. Father God, we trust your ways. Holy Spirit fall afresh on Alejandro. Dear hopeless, why are you so hopeless when there’s so much to be hopeful for? Did you know that even King David felt the way that you do. David in his lifetime had more than one time that he felt utterly hopeless. In one account, David feared Saul and He hid in a cave when being pursued by Saul’s armies, and he feared for his life, David, undoubtedly felt pretty hopeless. There are many examples of people just like you an me, that at times would feel depressed. The prophet Elijah was one, He had experiences like ours. He had difficulties similar to ours, and had tests like we do. He knew what depression was like. He ran from Jessabelle for fear he’d be killed too like the rest of the prophets. Then there was Jeramiah the prophet who was thrown into a dungeon, and bound in a mud pit. We could say he felt pretty hopeless too.
David wrote in the Psalms many time about who he put his hope and trust in. God give us the wisdom to follow David’s example in our times where we feel hopeless. David: “For in Thee, O Lord, do I hope: Thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.” (Psa. 38:15) David had face many difficulties over his life, and learned to stir himself up and remind himself of how big his God was, when things weren’t going his way. David: “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance” (Psa. 42:5). David knew where his help came from. As well, so should we. When depression comes we’d do well to do as David did, and encourage ourselves (in Him). We have much to be hopeful for. Scripture says: 31. “What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, (and He is) then who can be against us?” 32. He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Ro. 8:31,32). God has given us everything we need in this life through His Son, He’s even made us joint heirs with Christ. Meaning, that everything that belongs to Jesus, belongs to us Hallelujah!. We are blessed! ” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”: (Eph. 1 :3). Lord thank You that when depression come knocking, that we can do as the men and woman of old did, who left us example. We can encourage ourselves in the Lord just like David, and remind ourselves that You are for us, and not against us. We have much to be hopeful for Lord. Help our dabber to walk through this season with hopeful expectation that things are going to get better, because You are for them.

I know it’s hard but I promise you that God will bring you through this storm. He hears your prayers and he has incredible things in store for your life, even if you can’t see it yet. In Gods name I rebuke the enemy and any hold that he has on your life and any of the lies he is telling you. Even though it feels hopeless, continue to remain in His word and in prayer and He will carry you through this valley. I encourage you to please reach out and talk to someone you trust who knows the Lord about what you’re going through. The enemy wants to seclude us because we are stronger as a body.
