Father, Come. We invite your Holy Spirit to do a mighty work into this marriage. You are sovereign. Take every hurt, pain and resentment and bring your refining fire and restoration. Protect their son and bring beauty out of ashes. Give strength and open their eyes to the truth, bath it all in your mercy and love..

Praying in agreement with Sister Michelle and Brother Andy. 💙The situation you describe sounds difficult, to put it mildly. Is there any way you could see a marriage counselor? It sounds like you two have already tired to go it alone. If you can’ t manage a counselor, perhaps a few sessions with a pastor to get you both on the right road. Love does get stuck sometimes and commitment has to be out four wheel drive to get us moving toward love again.
Heavenly Father,
I lift up to You, a man and a woman, husband and wife, who are hurting, and hurting each other. You are the author of love. This couple needs a miracle from you. Please, Lord, touch each heart and make room for mercy and healing. I have seen your work in marriages. I have seen you repair the most broken, seemingly hopeless relationships and turn them into an oasis of joy. Please, open hearts, bring kindness and understanding. I also ask your blessing and protection on their son. Being a child in a hurtful marriage can be so lonely and frightening. Please, Help him to come through this time healthy and whole.
