August 28, 2021 at 1:34 amFather, as long as we are going to be church goers, or for that matter, as long as we are living on this planet. The spirit of offence is going to be at work. It’s one of Satan’s tools that he uses to stumble us, and hold us back. The saying goes, that there’s no such thing as a perfect church. The reason being, church’s are full of people. We all unfortunately offend sometimes, it’s just our human nature too. The key to not becoming offended is to walk in love. As long as we walk in love, offence really can’t touch us. There would be nothing you could say or do, that would affect me as long as I was walking in the Biblical kind of love the Bible talks about. (1 Cor. 13:4-8) This is why the enemy is constantly attempting to get us out of our love walk. He knows that if he can get us out of love, we are more eaisly susceptible to becoming offended. Was Jesus ever offended? No, He lived a perfect sinless life. He never took offence, even though He had plenty of opportunity to do so. He was able to remain in love because He yielded to the Holy Spirit who was in Him. We have the same opportunity to do the same. The same Holy Spirit is in us. Jesus left us an example as to how to live the Spirit filled, directed life. He was not only God in the flesh, but He was also a man. He showed us how to live victoriously in the earth. Father, help kramsicle to forgive those who have been offensive to him/her. And in the future, show our dabber, how not to be offended. It is possible provided we walk in love. Just because we are tempted to be offended, we don’t have to be. Lord, teach us how to walk in love as You do.
In JESUS NAME, we pray. Amen 💓
