March 5, 2018 at 12:31 amThe last 3 1/2 years have been the worst time in my life. I had a termination 3 years ago and my mother passed away in 2016 to cancer and since then I haven’t been the same. I feel anger towards family and friends whom I feel should have been there for me. I am also at the stage in my life that I’m praying for God to connect me to my future husband. I have met someone who is going through a divorce and we connect with each other, however he lives in a different country and sometimes communication breaks down between us. He seems like a nice man but I’m still getting to know him. I have been following DAB which is helping but sometimes I have no energy to really soak everything in. Please pray for God’s direction and guidance for me and strength to keep going as I just feel low. Thank you

March 5, 2018 at 12:53 amDear SBY84,
Sorry to read this. At my hardest points I have found just focusing on a day at a time with a rhythm of worship, prayer and the word fitted into the day (however possible that is) has been the thing that changed me completely from inside out.Dear Lord Jesus,
Please come in a strong way and may your spirit rest on sby84, come very close as she seeks you, Lord help her seek you first, knowing you will provide, that in the wait we have opportunity to see you face to face, that whilst we are in a time of waiting that you come close, Lord Make her know Your ways, O LORD; Teach her Your paths. (Psalm 25:4-5). Please come close like a loving father, please draw her in like a hen gathers it’s chicks. Lord let her feel your closeness and presence, let it be overflowing. Lord in your presence please give your joy, with great love bring your peace. Lord please turn away those you havent chosen for our sister, please provide for her desires, Lord as she seeks you please continue to fight for her and all of her desires. Lord be with her this years and let her see great hope for the future. Please lift our sister up. Amenpilly1356Prayers: 846Requests: 3
March 5, 2018 at 1:35 amDear Heavenly Father
I lift up Sarah before your throne for healing in many aspects of her life. I ask you take away her disappointment about her termination, that you see her through the grief of losing her mother, help her let go of resentments to family members who didn’t respond in her time of need. She needs you to lift her out of this so she can find joy and have energy again. Lord, in our human condition, letting go is so difficult but with you, all things are possible. I pray 1Peter 5:7 for her…that she can cast her cares upon You because You care for her. Lord God, please lead her out of this wilderness and into the life you have planned for her.
I pray this in Jesus Holy Name
Amen

March 5, 2018 at 5:59 pmHi SBY84 (Sarah?)
Your prayer request has touched my heart today. I also know the loss of loved ones and friends, I recently my job, and the feeling of being disconnected and low in spirit can be so painful. As I have been trusting in the answers for my situation, I can empathize with your feeling lonely and desiring companionship. I want to encourage you to not give up, to share your thoughts and hurts with others, to pursue God even when you don’t think your energy level is letting you absorb the contact. He knows you and he is so in love with you dear one! When I am lonely sometimes I just ask Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit to come and rest with me… to let me experience the nurturing fulfillment of behind held in his arms. I try and submit my busy, noise, worried mind to him and ask for help to be quiet with him. When I am silent in that space he has always shown up. That act has been powerful for me… Surrender can be very freeing. You do not have to carry that weight alone. I want you to know you are not alone in this world.
I will be praying for your desire to be married, and your physical, spiritual, emotional, and financial needs to be met and to overflow with abundance. That God will guide your path in perfect love. And that while you are waiting on the answers to what is next, that you will be sweet and kind to your heart and the aching pain of loosing your mother. This season will pass and you will be made new in Christ and your story will be so beautiful to share in as i expect God to show up in your life.
May the Lord Jesus bless and keep you today and always!
Amen,

March 19, 2018 at 1:56 amI just want to say thank you for the prayers. Just an update on the man I was getting to know. It was revealed that he was not honest with me and had never filed for a divorce. We are longer in contact now. This confirms that God is definitely a prayer answering God for all this being revealed at this time. Especially a week after I requested for the prayer. God bless you all.

March 20, 2018 at 11:55 amSBY84 –
I continue to think about you and pray for your heart… seeing these updates brought tears of joy as our prayers return to us full of promise, the reward of Lord Jesus life, love, and comfort.
One other practice I learned from reading Brennan Mannings writing was a simple prayer of submission,
“Lord Jesus, I belong to you…”
I breathe in when saying Lord Jesus and exhale I belong to you. It doesn’t matter where I am or what is going on… this act of submission and focus seems to calm me. It reminds me of some past comment made about every breath is God inspired. Even the name Yahweh can represent the act of breathe for me.
Please know you are loved, wanted, precious to the Lord and countless others.
Shalom,

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please establish a path for sby84. Please let her rest in you, comforted by the knowledge that you fight for her that you walk with her and that you will never leave or forsake her. Please be her source of courage. Please let this time with you be special and rewarded. Amen -
