October 6, 2021 at 3:12 amHi there everyone, I’ve only recently got into DAB again and I never post requests like this on ‘public’ forums but I need all the help I can get. My name is Myles Tolley and I live in the UK and so to cut a long story short as background : in 2013 I was diagnosed eventually (after many confused doctors and scans and other tests ) with a blood clot that had unfortunately travelled to my portal Vein in my liver causing blockages, recurring infections. As someone who’s never drank more than one beer on an occasion such as a warm day get together or a toast at a wedding and also never taken drugs this is why the liver results were baffling then till the clot got big enough to see on scanner. Within 18 months I had a liver transplant and everything was fine I had a tough recovery but eventually got home in Dec 2019 all good and apart from soreness the symptoms had all but gone. NOW to current issue and desperate prayer request , I’m in tears as I write this so any typos I don’t see I apologise for. In the UK we (being high risk or immunosuppressed, being a transplant patient I am) got a letter to ask us to isolate due to COVID-19 (this was before the official national order but was sent through the GOVERNMENT arm of the NHS not straight from doctor so I knew it was serious) so I did that and have been like that all year but I couldn’t avoid a hospital clinic meeting face to face as I’d developed a chest infection which they expected to be pneumonia . I went in and they examined me were concerned but didn’t want to risk keeping me in due to Covid so took a blood tests and on we went – we had a phone call at 12:34am telling us to come straight in, avoid A&E (ER for my American Brothers and sisters) and go straight to ward as my kidneys were failing so they put me to sleep put me on dialysis which I was on for 4 days but unfortunately I picked up Covid but by the Grace of God I wasn’t affected to badly at first . After 2 months in hospital (now a normal ward but side room) they said they had bad news, they’re not 100% sure but as they now knew more about Covid they are aware it attacks the weakest area of body and can throw clots out especially to immobile patients and if had a clot go back into that portal vein only bigger. Now I was put on transplant list and got one in 3 months (at this point I’d spent so I’d already spent 4 months in hospital unable to see anyone even my fiancé or pastor) so I had the op and I had to apparently be rescucitated twice and they used 35 bags of blood transfusions due to how much I bled but surgeons worked a miracle I believe with Gods Spirit in that room cos the guy who did it is the TOP transplant surgeon in UK (as it was a second liver only he would do it) and he told us (not sure if he is Christian but I don’t think so)that something in there made him say no each time his colleagues said shall we call it after the second resusitacion and more transfusions. Needless to say I survived with many complications and I won’t go into them

October 6, 2021 at 3:51 amMe again it posted early so would let me finish so I’ll carry on from here:- So basically my artery has been under so much pressure following op and I had a sepsis infection and we were recently told we lost the liver and a third one is needed (all this whilst still in hospital) but I’m still weak and recovering from sepsis yet they need me to be on a 23 hour tube feed which upsets my stomach and physio which I’m so weak to do atm but the alternative is eventually a hospice with palliative care until the time comes. Iv been making good progress but had a really bad infection yesterday which looks to be under control but please pray for ongoing faith and endurance and healing in Jesus name as God can, we know this but also WILL beat the odds I’m facing . I’m 31 and want to marry my fiancé and have a family and this has plagued me since 2013. Praise be to God and anyone who listens and responds bless you

October 6, 2021 at 4:11 pmFather, thank You for this brave soul who’s endured so much at a still such a young age. While all the while keeping his faith in You. We applaud our brother’s fighting spirit, and we stand in agreement over his healing. LORD, we ask that You honor his faith in You, and in Your ability to heal. And we ask that he be healed Miraculously of what is ailing him, from the crown of his head, to the soles of his feet — and everywhere in between. Father, he’s voiced his trust in You. We are asking, as his faith is, so be it done unto him.
In JESUS mighty name. Amen! 💓
