Dear Lord strengthen our brother and place a guard on his desires. Please Lord search his heart a reveal to him a new way and a new day of victory over this. May he remove anything that would weaken him into temptation. May the power of your spirit be with him as he prays instantly to you. Lord may he seek ways to overcome with guidance and encouragement from others that can help him. In the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

I was finally caught by my wife, in the act. She was deeply hurt by this and was considering leaving me. And she wouldn’t have any thing do do with me sexually. I really thought that I could lose her which was the impetus I needed to turn to The Lord with all my heart. For days I would pray and worship for hours, crying out to God to save my marriage. Ultimately we went to counseling at our church. She demanded that I give her full disclosure for everything that I had done. At first, I did not want to do this but it was something that was very important for her. So I gave in. You have to be willing to put the needs of others first. My wife knew what she needed to begin healing.

A long story short. What you lose as a result of continuing this sin (God’s blessing, your marriage, peace of mind, etc…, etc…) are so very important, you are literally fighting for your life with God. You need to pray like it!!!

Lord, please help your Son to realize the gravity of his sin. Help him once and for all to give this sin completely over to you and to learn to trust you and you alone to fill all his needs.

My wife and I today as a result of God healing me and our marriage have a relationship that is truly blessed. And I have very little urge to look at women in this way. Don’t forget they are your sisters in Christ.
