Exam anxiety

    I am a 17 year old who lives in England and is currently taking A-levels. I suffer from really bad anxiety whenever i go into the exam hall. Not because i’m afraid of failing, but because i get very anxious whenever there is a lot of people in a given area. I will have panic attacks but sit in silence, trying to calm myself down. It is one of the worst feelings and i wish i knew how to stop it. This leads to a poorer performance and depression whenever exam season comes around. It is that time of year again and was hoping people could pray for me. I notice every time i pray really hard the night before an exam, my anxiety is never as bad and this is with just me and my mom praying. I can not imagine the result i would get if more prayers were involved. Please pray for me, i try to listen every morning to the Daily Audible Bible ever since January this year. The words in the scriptures have made me a better person, influencing my responses to certain situations in a positive light. Thankyou for letting me join into this community.

    Dear Lord Jesus,
    We lift our sister Lauren to you now, that you would cover her in peace, that your would still her very being. Please guide her to things that would help, reveal the things that dont help. Please be a helper over this season. Lord please bless the steps she takes, please go before her and prepare the place of exams for her. Give her wonderful sleep so that she would be fresh, Lord hold her up above any doubt, worry or depression. Make this experience different from any other and may your joy flood out of her by the end. May your name be lifted high. Thank you for who you are and your love. Amen

    Dad, I pray for this young lady. That You will help her to stay strong in her faith with You. That You will give her peace and confidence during her exams. I pray that she’ll keep all her trust in You Father. May Your will be done. Amen.

    Praise Father, Son and Spirit! Dear Lauren, how refreshing it is to read of your prayer request – I lift you up to our Blessed God and Father. Today in the Scriptures we read John 8 where Jesus says, “I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father.” Whenever I read that scripture, I always thought of Jesus referring back to His time in His Father’s presence while He was still in heaven. It occured to me this morning, that Jesus spent many hours during His earthly life in the Presence of His Father, in prayer. What a privilege we have! You and I have the same access!!! For you to ask, I jumped for joy!
    Oh LORD, we bring Lauren before you as your precious daughter, whom You love with an everlasting love. You promised that in this world, we would have tribulation but to be of good cheer because You have overcome the world. We come to into your Presence to “see” the truth. To allow that truth to sink deep into our hearts, so that only Your Peace is left. Oh Jesus, let this truth sink deep into our hearts to dispel our anxiety. Give us favor dear Lord in the exams of life, so that we can shine your light and glorify your Name forever! We love You!
