Father in heaven, I pray for strength and comfort for our DAB sister who has lost her daughter suddenly in an accident. Bless her with Christian friends to come along side. Ease the pain. We know our times are in your hands. Help her carry on with her daily responsibilities in the midst of her pain. Give her your blessed peace in her spirit, a witness that you are there. In Jesus name

Jehovah Shalom, our God of peace, who is near to the broken hearted to wipe every tear and to close every wound. We pray for your daughter and that she will receive strength and peace from You during this difficult time after a tragic loss. You oh Lord giveth and taketh , blessed be the name of Lord. Though it may be difficult for her to understand at this time of many questions but few or no answers we pray that her faith will not fail but will be increased and like Job in the midst of affliction and adversities declared “I know my Redeemer live and I will see Him on that day’ I pray oh Lord that she will also have the same declaration and not bow under the pressure of loss but continue to call on Your name and yield to the Holy Spirit who comforts, who guides, who teaches, who instructs, who quickens and who brings gift. The same Holy Spirit of power who raises Jesus Christ from the dead lives within her as a believer will empower her and take her through this difficult time. Father, let this parent feel Your Presence and be comforted by You. Pour out your love and power. Let them know You are their strength and a very present help in time of need. You are with them in their suffering and pain. You understand exactly what they are feeling and know all they are going through. You are for them. You will walk with them and see them through. All of our days are numbered. Help us to use our time wisely. Teach us. Thank You for the hope of heaven and of being with You and our great big family in Your Kingdom. I look forward to that!!
