Update on my son Eliott. He has cancer

    Some of you may remember that I requested prayer for my son Eliott as he was going to the emergency room last Saturday and they thought it might be an infection.. Well, today he met with the specialist and was diagnosed with testicular cancer. We don’t have all the tests back yet, but it does seem to be confined to just one testicle which he will have to have surgery to move. I am in shock though. I am a teacher and just hearing this news is making concentration on my work difficult today. Eliott has a CAT scan at 1:00. Please pray. Jacqui aka Apple of His Eye

    I’m so sorry to hear that!

    Heavenly Father,
    I lift Elliot up to You. God, we hear “cancer” and we are terrified, but You are so much bigger. Thank You so much for prompting Elliot to seek medical attention and not try to tough it out. We thank You for the specialist who caught this. I ask for complete healing over Elliot. I ask that You would remove the cancer. I pray that there is no cancer anywhere else in his body. Please fill Elliot and his family with Your peace. If You don’t miraculously remove the cancer, then I ask that You would give Elliot the most competent and compassionate doctors and surgeons. Please guide their hands and give them wisdom to know what is best for Elliot. God, I also ask that this cancer does not harm Elliot’s chances of one day having a family of his own. God, you are so good. You are the ultimate healer. In Jesus’ name, amen.

    Lord, we thank you for this diagnosis and wisdom of the doctors in treating this beloved son! Give him a peace beyond all understanding! If it is Your will, allow this fright to pass quickly and completely! Draw your servants close and bring them to a renewed hope in You! Allow the lessons of this time to take hold and sustain them all! Renew us in body, mind, and spirit to the purpose you have made for us to fulfill in this fallen world. Thank you for your perfect timing! Amen

    Abba Father, we lift up Eliott to You and ask for healing. We wait upon You and Praise You in this difficult storm because we sense the shock that the family is in. Oh Lord, we ask for comfort, peace and strength. We ask that You help us to trust You through this time and stay close to Your heart. We know that You love Eliott more than we could ever and thank You that You have him under your wing. We love You Lord, and thank and praise You.

    Jacqui, so sorry to hear you and Eliott are suffering so much.
    Our Holy and gracious Heavenly Dad loves you and his promises are 💯 % true! Through all these trials he will deliver you so trust him and is Word.
