October 28, 2018 at 10:33 amPlease pray for my family, I recently lost my oldest son to his long battle with addiction and he choose to give up his fight despite how much I have prayed, seeked help for him, walked by him-and tried not to enable_I truly believed he was called to be a drug counselor because he encouraged so many others in their struggle to overcome. Losing him to this battle despite my efforts and prayers and belief has shaken me to the core.
Now I find my youngest-whom was raised in Christian schools and always walked with such strong faith and stayed on the narrow path-is now pushing himself to the limits-drinking and driving, being influenced by the wrong crowd and drawn to life on the edge-I pray constantly for him to return to his walk…For Gods divine protection, and for Godly influence in his life.
and as I seek for someone to talk with-I see my Christian friends stepping away (?because it causes them to question their own faith and that this could happen to them?) and the only people standing by me are business aquaintances that are not Christian and push a what ever serves you belief. I pray for God to send me someone that I can talk with that can encourage me but I find that people dont want anyone that is a “weight” so I put a fake smile on my face and try to press on through this. All of my life, I have stood by others, given to others, and encouraged but now I find myself walking this journey alone. I continue to pray, and if God is close to the brokenhearted then why-do I not feel Him anymore?mkdwhittedPrayers: 1810Requests: 175

October 31, 2018 at 11:12 amO Father, this is heartbreaking. As a mom of 2 grown men, my heart feels for this mom. It’s so scary to see our “kids” struggling to make this their faith. But to lose one son to addiction and the second son acting wildly now – so very difficult. Please send help to this mom. Give her encouragement through your body of believers. Surround her with TEN godly women who will love her, listen to her broken heart and in doing so help her heal. But You do the mending Father. We know You understand full well what it’s like to have a son die, and how Your heart was broken. Gather the mom in Your arms and comfort and encourage her. Show her what she can do today to smile to you.

November 1, 2018 at 1:04 pmRedeem: (1)”to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of (something)” (2)”to gain or regain possession of (something) in exchange for payment” — Blessed are You, Lord our God and precious Redeemer who sees our afflictions and champions our cause. Thank You Lord for having paid it all for us on the cross. May You compensate this daughter of Yours, our sister and restore 100 fold to her what has been lost. May You meet her now in her desert experience and set Your Glory before her as You did in the days of Moses by a visible pillar of smoke by day and fire by night. May You bless her with dreams and waking visions of Your presence so that she will know beyond doubt that she is not alone. May You fill her with the irrefutable knowledge and unshakable faith of Your everlasting Love for her and for her sons. We humbly ask that You come Holy Spirit and fill her and surround her with Your presence, lead her in the ways of all Truth, establish her anew and forever more in the land of Your promise that overflows with your Grace and Mercy and everlasting Love. In the name of Jesus who is the very fulfillment of all Grace and all Mercy and all Love we ask. Amen and Amen.
