June 23, 2022 at 10:20 amThe Psalmist writes: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart would be acceptable in your sight, Lord my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm19:14 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips Psalm 141:3. Take control of what I say, Lord, and guard my lips. Help me to guard my words whenever I say something. I promise you that on the day of judgment, everyone will have to account for every careless word they have spoken. Matthew 12:36

June 23, 2022 at 4:11 pmAgreeing, praying the LORD grants you the patience that your requesting. Father, patience is a fruit of the Spirit that needs to be developed. LORD asking You for patience will many times cause You to open up opportunities for us to practice patience. Help our dabber to be ready to be faced with situations that will Test their patience. And help them to remember, It’s by passing the test that our patience grows, and develops. — God has given us the awesome gift of choosing the words that we speak. (Pv. 18:21) tells us there is life or death in the words we speak. (De. 30:15-20) encourages us to choose life. (Ja. 3:8-12) says — 8. “But the tongue no man can tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9. Therewith we bless God the Father, and therewith curse we men. Who have been created after the similitude of God. 10. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing; My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12. Can a fig tree my brethren bear olive berries? Ether a vine figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Father, Your WORD is clear. We’ll never be able to tame our own tongue in our own strength. It’s only possible to, by us yielding to the Holy Spirit, and asking Him for help. Help our dabber to approach You daily and ask You to help him or her with the words that they speak. Help them to choose words that bring life into the lives of others. Words that build up, and encourage. (Eph. 4:29) – “let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth; but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Thank You Father, for when we cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s correction, and leading, we can speak words of life. Help us to look to Him for help in bridling our unruly tongues. We ask, in JESUS NAME. Amen! ♥️

June 23, 2022 at 7:39 pmElisabeth Elliot quotes here: “When ours are interrupted, his are not. His plans are proceeding exactly as scheduled, moving us always (including those minutes or hours or years which seem most useless or wasted or unendurable).”
“Restlessness and impatience change nothing except our peace and joy. Peace does not dwell in outward things, but in the heart prepared to wait trustfully and quietly on Him who has all things safely in His hands.”
“One reason we are so harried and hurried is that we make yesterday and tomorrow our business, when all that legitimately concerns us is today. If we really have too much to do, there are some items on the agenda which God did not put there. Let us submit the list to Him and ask Him to indicate which items we must delete. There is always time to do the will of God. If we are too busy to do that, we are too busy.” -
