Prayers spoken for this young lady and her family. I had a daughter who got into cutting at about that same age. It’s so scary as a parent. We are nearly 10 years out from that time now, and she is doing so well. There is hope! May God grant them insight into why she feels the need to self-harm, and direct them to the right resources for help. 🙏🏻

Lord Jesus I lift up this child to you. Help her to understand the dark place that these thoughts come from and to have the clarity to see the light and find the hope that can only come from you Jesus. Help her to know that hurting herself hurts all those who love her. Lord Jesus I lift up our youth who are struggling with self harm and other dark thoughts. Love and Prayers Emily

Amen! Lord to these prayers, Lord, deliver this beloved child from the clutches of depression, and a spirit of self loathing. And place in her heart the love, and acceptance that only You can give.
