December 19, 2020 at 7:04 amThis is a report of praise. It is shared it to encourage you and give honor and glory where it is due. To God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, revealed in His son Jesus the Christ. In early August my 18 year old daughter, Jasmine, was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis after three hospital stays totaling almost a month. The result is she has been bedridden until just two weeks ago. She could, with the aid of a walker, get to the bathroom but occasionally had to be lifted off the toilet. Her joints were in such pain and her muscles so deteriorated she could barely walk. She was taken to doctor’s visits by wheelchair. Jasmine had gastritis, a very inflamed stomach lining, which limited her use of ibuprofen. She has been taking synthetic opioids for the pain. She was often in great pain. One of her feet was swollen so badly that the skin was burst open from internal pressure. She lost all her toenails on that foot. The foot was barely recognizable as a human foot. Medication that was to help her with psoriatic arthritis failed. Jasmine was in despair for her life. During this horrible situation I have not need Jesus more than before turning my life over to the guidence and obdience of Jesus. Faith has been my eyes during this entire time. I have walked in paths unseen by human eyes. The prayers of the body of Christ, across all denominations, have been continually lifted to God. For this I am grateful. This past two weeks we have seen Jasmine find the proper medication for her illness. It is working to reduce joint swelling and pain. She is healed of stomach gastritis, confirmed by endoscopy. Her foot swelling is down and the skin is closed and healing. She has moved from weekly appointments with the doctor and home care by a nurse to one visit in three weeks and home care not needed anymore. She can now walk about 40 feet without assistance. Her healing is taking place before our eyes. Last night, at a restaurant, Jasmine and I talked about her future and then walked back to the car together. She had no walker, wheelchair or assistance. Luke 7:22-23 “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” Jasmine has a hope and a future thanks to Jesus her healer. The power of Jesus has raised Jasmine’s physical body.
