    Today i feel alone. A year ago my now ex girlfriend went on a selfish, self absorbed weekend to NYC and never asked or considered if i wanted to go and then put all the pictures of things i wanted to do with her online. When i look back she really never considered us a couple. I now have a intense desire to go their with someone special and have the time that she had. I have felt lonely, abondoned, resentful and left out for over a year. My prayer is that no one has to experience whay I’m going thru as its miserable although i know and have faith that I’m going thru this for a reason. My prayer is also that God willing, i will get to experience the city on veterans day weekend next year. In Jesus name AMEN. Thank you in advance

    I can relate to your story Chicagoman. It is truly painful to go thru it at the time. The silver lining is that it sounds like you dodged what could have developed into a dysfunctional relationship or marriage. Our Father, I pray for comfort for those seeking loved ones to share our life journey with. You gave us the desire for this kind of relationship, and I believe and ask in faith that You will provide in Your good timing. Until then fill us with Your joy and surround us with godly friendships to share our burdens with. Amen.

    Thank you for the reply. Yes, agree,even though it hurt literally like a sickening burning sensation at the time and still lingers now (although have to admit not as bad) it was and is for the good. I have to remain FAITHFUL that he has someone beyond my thinking for me and as you said , in HIS time will put us together. He’s definitely working on my patience. Not a easy thing for me.
