Heavenly Father, I stand in agreement with this parent in pleading for your intervention in the abusive relationship involving their child. We pray urgently for the deliverance of this child from this relationship, and plead with you to draw this child to you so they will know you as their Savior and Redeemer. Father, reveal yourself to this child, and lead them in the new path you have prepared. I also pray for the abusive spouse, that they would seek healing and forgiveness for their behavior. Father, you know better than we how to reach the prodigal, and redeem their lives. We ask that you would set in motion the actions that will rescue this couple, protect the abused spouse and accomplish what we seek as part of your divine plan.

Lord Jesus, you mourn for your child who is in an abusive relationship and long for her to come to you. We ask that your might my hand would reach down and deliver her from the hand of this person who continues to hurt her. And ask that as that happens she will be able to see you undeniably and hear you clearly in ways she has never experienced before. You love every one of your children, regardless of whether they are turned toward you or away from you. So we thank you that you will never stop chasing down this dear child of yours
