January 12, 2019 at 11:44 pmMy partner (ex husband/father of children) and I have not spoken to each other in a couple days. We have spent many years apart because of his addiction. Last year he went to treatment and managed to stay sober with a few relapses. DOC is methamphetamine. He used a day before my bday this year and took off on my birthday. He has a habit in disappearing after he uses. I was so upset and hurt. I still am very upset and it’s like he’s mad at me for being upset. He does not have any words for me and I don’t have anything nice to say to him. He went golfing today and came home drunk the girls and I went to the rooms and waited for him to pass out. We struggle with alone time with God and we struggle with praying together. I get stuck on why should I pray for him if he doesn’t even pray for himself. I don’t know what to do

January 13, 2019 at 4:39 amFather, please bring healing to this family. Please bring peace and care to this mother. Please awaken the father to gravity of the situation, the sin the binds him, and your love that can set him free. We know you are good. We know you are able.
In the name of Jesus – amen.

January 13, 2019 at 7:33 amFather, lifting up this woman and her family to You. You love them all and are there for them. Give her wisdom. Let her ask for it and believe Your Word that says You give it when we ask. Thank You for protecting her and her girls. I lift up this man to You and ask that You give him ears to hear You and a heart that is open. Let him believe You when You say this behavior has got to stop. Let him turn to You for help and follow You. Explain to him all that is on the line. Give him courage to ask for help and get into a rehab if that is what is best. I speak to the addictions that are destroying his relationships and his life saying, leave in the Name of Jesus. This man will honor God and love his family and that life he has been given. He will no longer be robbed by you. Jesus Christ sets him free! Thank You Jesus! I praise You! Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit. Fill their home with Your peace and joy. Let them all seek You. Teach them how to read Your Word and rely on it because it is food for their soul. You are life. Let them turn to You. Heal their hurts and let them hand over all pain, fears, worry and doubt to You. You replace them with SUCH GOOD things!! YES!! I know if I want that for them You want it SO MUCH MORE!!! Have Your way! I pray You will be glorified in their lives. Let them find a Bible teaching church where they can go each week and be instructed and built up in Your Word. Give them a loving community of believers who will walk with them. Transform their lives, for Your glory, their good and the good of many! I love how You do this!! Let this Mom speak these blessings over her daughters and their father. Your plans for them are good. You are the Good Shepherd. You will care for them- they just need to stay close to You and follow as You lead. They can do it! I love You! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen and amen!
