Dear DAB family I would appreciate prayers for my sweet wife, Betsy, who for years has been plagued with uncontrollable bowel movements. The doctor has no answers but i know God has the answer. Please pray that we both have the victory in every circumstance and be careful to glorify Jesus throughout this trial. Thanks. God Bless all.

I felt this verse was important,
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10). From my experiences at work there is a spirit or fear or anxiety that works around this situation so I will pray against that.Dear Lord Jesus,
Please speak into this situation and bring your peace. Please help Betsy understand the root of any psychosomatic factor that may be associated with this. Lord give her insight and understanding. Lord as she seeks you please surround her with your protection like a wall and let this verse be true from Psalm 125:2 ‘As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.’ Lord I pray this faithful couple have great reason to celebrate you this year. I thought of Mark 5:21-34…it is where the woman had been I’ll for years, a chronic problem, and she but touched his robe and was made well by her faith. Reading encouraging passages like that as a daily exercise has helped me through some very difficult times… maybe a certain piece of scripture speaks to her.
Also, I believe that God puts people who can help in our path in times of need. You mentioned a doctor, but has she had a consult with a gastrointestinal specialist? There are many possible causes for Betsy’s problem and many have pretty straightforward solutions. I urge you to keep seeking answers as this is a huge quality of life issue. Even if finances are a problem…a payment plan could be set up. I feel strongly led to encourage you to persue this spiritually AND medically.

March 7, 2018 at 1:38 pmBob and Betsy update. Thank you all for your intercession with the Father on our behalf. We have more peace and hope. GI doctor doing more tests to see if another bacteria infection is in GI track. Your prayers are our medicine and “it is well with our souls “. Praise GOD.
March 8, 2018 at 6:56 amPraying for healing. Have you ever heard of the Maker’s diet, diet by Jordan Rubin? He had the same issue and was in a very, very bad spot. He was wasting away and the doctors couldn’t help him either. He developed this diet as a result of his experience and findings, and was restored to health. Praying for complete restoration and strength and perseverance. I know this is so hard. The Lord is with you. Psalm 23

Your grace and mercy is sufficient and you are still performing healing miracles. Our faith in you is what helps us make it through our trials in life because you are with us always.
