All I want is peace and all I feel is fear. Fear from the past, fear for the future, fear that I do not have true salvation, fear that God does not love me. I’m on day three of no sleep and feel filled with so much sadness and anxiety. I have struggled with mental illness my whole life. Been through sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. I just want to feel okay. All I do is try and seek God, His presence is the only thing I crave yet He has not filled me with it. I can’t say that I have ever truly felt like I was in the presence of God, except maybe once when I was little. Why hasn’t He revealed Himself to me? Why doesn’t He care? I’ve turned away from so much sin in my life, and for that I have God to thank, but my mental health needs healing. I feel that the enemy attacks me at night and fills me with so much anxiety and fear that it is too much to bear. Isn’t accepting Jesus into your life supposed to give you peace? Where is it? I have yet to experience a day in my life where I feel at peace. My mind is always troubled, I am always filled with worry. I don’t want to hurt anymore.
May 11, 2020 at 5:55 amAbba Father! How Amadalemburg8 needs to sense Your Presence! Father, we cry out to You for her and lift her up to You! Break the chains that keep her in fear. Allow her brokenness to be a stepping stone to You. Yes. Lord! Reveal Yourself to her by showing her the way she should go. Sweep away all the thoughts that keep her focused on her pain. Show her through Your Word that You do care! Give her Peace by Your Holy Spirit! Give her the strength to turn away from troubled thoughts that lead to worry. Praise Your Name!! We worship You for being Almighty!!
May 11, 2020 at 9:53 amOh Lord break through the lies this dear one is believing. The truth is you did not give us a spirit of fear but love, power, and a sound mind. The enemy has robbed this one of the sound mind God has promised. Lord, intervene and part the clouds of confusion so this one can know You as You truly are. We ask in Jesus name.

Father, we humbly ask that You will guide her to get a check-up with her doctor, to discuss her mental health struggles, and to find an excellent Christian counselor who can help her heal from past abuses. May 11, 2020 at 1:55 pmFather, restore this one . Lead Amanda to a good Christ centered body of believers. Where the Word of God is preached with authority and in it’s full council. Increase in her a hunger for your Word. Help her find out what your Word says about her, and about who she is in Christ. Also show her what belongs to her through your many promises. Help her Lord to find her identity in you.
Lord restore her mind. I pull down the strongholds that the enemy has used to keep her in bondage for so long. I command! the lying spirits to stop with their lies. I plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, soul, and emotions. Father, i ask that you surround her with your warring angels to protect her.

O Comforter, to Thee we cry, Oh heavenly gift of God Most High, Oh fount of life and fire of love, And sweet anointing from above…” Peace be with you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

May 13, 2020 at 2:39 pmLord, please give Amanda peace. Please put your peace on her and wrap her in it like a warm blanket. God please take away her anxieties, lift her fears and let them disappear like a vapor. Fill her with unexplainable peace. Help her to see you reaching out to her through other people, through the beauty of nature, through kind words, through any means necessary so that she knows that you are there and she’s not alone. Give her faith. Please God give her a little faith so that she remembers your great love for her. And Lord please help her to sleep at night. Give her rest. In Jesus’ name I pray amen.

Stay strong and know that we love you and are praying for you. Here is a prayer that might help ease your Mind and Spirit.
Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you to ask for the restoration and healing of my mind. Thank you that you became fully human and walked amongst us, so you understand the complexities of the human brain. So I lay this mental illness before the cross. I surrender it now to your grace, knowing that you have paid the price for my freedom. Come, Holy Spirit bring the touch of new balance, correction and wellbeing to my thought life. Come into the memories of my past and the confusion of my present with new hope, hope for a future of breaking free from mental illness into a new dawn. Lord, right now I trust in the power of your unfailing love and grace, and the freedom that is found in you. Come release me into all the good things that you have instore for me. In Jesus’ name!
