We just heard that my brother in law is in the ICU with ketoacidosis. His blood sugar is nearly 400 and he’s had seizures. He’s been on dialysis for years so he’s not in good shape. His name is Ted.

Do not let us look to our own finite understanding for a sign of your goodness. We know that you are good, and so we praise and thank you, that You see from beginning to end, and are sovereign over all things. We commit Ted to You, Lord, knowing that You are trustworthy and worthy to be praised.
