February 15, 2023 at 5:15 pmI can see that my brother is drinking too much and using it as a coping mechanism, but he doesn’t see it/ won’t admit it. he has struggled with depression previously too but is also avoiding going back into counselling. please pray that his eyes will be opened to the root cause of his issues, his mind will be renewed and he will make the changes / get the help he needs. I’ve stressed myself out so much trying to speak to him about these things but to no avail because he has to want to make the change for himself. your prayers would be appreciated please x

February 16, 2023 at 1:57 pmYou make no mention of whether your brother is a Christian or not NW. I pray that if he isn’t, the LORD would save him soon. Trying to stop drinking on your own is near impossible, I know from my own experience it took the supernatural power of God Almighty, to once and for all deliver me. Father, should this man need saving, we pray that he’d be saved to the uttermost. We also pray, that the problem with alcohol would become a thing of the past. Change his desire to drink into one of desiring more of You.
We ask, thanking You in advance for what Your about to do, in JESUS name. Amen! 💓

February 16, 2023 at 2:28 pmI understand that he may need to Know God’s Love For You and Trust Him…”God understands the way to it and He alone knows where it dwells,” Job 28:23. I prayed and told our Father…I didn’t know what you needed, because He is Greater and I know He Knew. So, I pulled this verse…For He has ‘already taken the suffering from you’ so ask for GRACE and in Encouragement as you Listen to what it says about this VERSE for you and them in this VERSE: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
God, our Father please redeem me/the world with (godliness/holiness) to know you are in control of everything and knowing the Knowledge of Wisdom for He gives us assurance that our suffering is only temporary, and that God is ultimately in control.
In Jesus’ Name Amen!

February 16, 2023 at 4:24 pmAmen, Lord. I join in praying for this brother to know freedom from addiction in Christ. May he be delivered from every lie the devil has used to keep him in bondage to alcohol. May he find his purpose, calling, gifts, all You have for him in a renewed relationship with Christ. Be glorified. In Jesus name

February 17, 2023 at 5:00 amHeavenly Father, I pray that You would be clearly evident in this situation. I pray that You would provide the brother of NW the exact answer to what he is searching for and the perfect healing to the hurt and brokenness that he is trying to subdue with alcohol. Heavenly Father I pray that Your Spirit would provide the perfect peace and comfort in such a way that there would be no desire to turn back to alcohol, but that You would be his deepest desire. Grow in this man who You have created and loved a deep desire to know You more and to turn to You as a new response when the pill of alcohol would be the normal response. Father I pray that You would provide another man who would come along side and be a steadfast encourager for this man so that he can see You through him. Father give this brother and sister a firm understanding that they are not alone in this dark world and that You have provided the light of life, the spring of living water, and the Rock of our salvation that will never be moved. Comfort these two and us all with Your perfect peace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
