Dear Dabbers, today was a significant breakthrough, and I can only thank you for your faithful support these past 14 months and our Lord’s favour. It has been an uphill battle as anyone who needed and applied for a bank loan, who did not have the necessary support, would know. No “new” company qualifies for bank facilities. Increasingly, in the past few months and weeks, the resistance became weaker, then the tide turned, and today a funder we spoke to on numerous occasions and rejected us, was so full of praise for what we achieved. Their words were so complimentary and simply came down to “how can we refuse?” There is one last document review tomorrow, and if all is in order, the funding will be an impossible 7 days away. All glory to our Lord! We risked, we worked, we persevered in faith, and it has not been easy with many sacrifices. Please pray that our final meetings tomorrow, result in the conclusion of the funding, so we can get to work, providing relief to hurting working small businesses, that need financial aid and relief.
