My son Chris is now in a detox center. He has been hooked on alcohol and oxy for about a year. (we just found out so we need prayer as well) He was about to get a new job then everything shut down in our state and made him depressed and he started abusing more. We need and he needs direction and provision when he gets out. Please pray he would be totally be set free and saved and strong. Please pray for healing for the damage he has done to his body. Also please pray he would be delivered from fear and anxiety. Thank you

You are building Chris’s story and though You do not want that any of Your children suffer, You can use his battle for Your glory. shelter Chris’s family in your Peace and let their words and actions bring glory to You as well, God.
May 17, 2020 at 1:21 pmFather in heaven, I pray Christ may know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. May he get godly counsel. Open his heart to hear the truth that Christ paid the penalty for our sins. May he be willing to repent of his sin and trust alone in Christ. Bless him with a safe detox. May he never look back. Bless his parents with wisdom and strength. in Jesus name
May 17, 2020 at 8:28 pmDear Lord, praying for Chris. Father, Break the chains of addiction off of him. Asking that you do a deep work in his heart. Help him to realize that what he is doing, can destroy any hope of a good future for him. Help Chris to see in your Word ways to stay strong, And surround him with grounded believer’s that can be an encouragement to him, and that will help him to stay on the right path. Set him free by your love an mercy.
Father, draw close to the parents. help them, and straighten them. Give them wisdom, and show them what course they are to walk that will be of the best help for their son. Father, empower them by your enduring love.

Help his withdraw from drugs and alcohol be brief, and give those who are there to help him to means to make this part less difficult. I pray that you will give him a heartfelt desire for sobriety. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will move in his heart and all through his body so that he desires to be clean. I pray for his family and that you will work to move them toward the resources that they need to help themselves and their son move through this difficult time. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
May 19, 2020 at 11:25 amYes, standing in agreement with these prayers for Chris and his parents. Lord, have Your way in each of their lives. Set Chris free from these addictions. Bring along another Christian man to show Chris how to live victoriously through uncertain times. Blessings
