I joined DAB to find a church and family. I grew up in Uganda in a Christian family and went to a missionary school. From a very young age we grew up knowing about God and fearing Him. We were all confirmed and chose to have Christ as our saviour. I am not sure I ever thought about it but simply accepted and comfortably followed the rules and the instructions as we could best understand. I now live in the UK, blessed with children, a husband and an extended family. Most of whom are Christians. I have tried to raise the kids fearing and knowing about God. We currently have no church and the children now Ashina 23, Casey 18 and Charlotte 15 are not interested in church. My eldest has a little boy Gio 4 not growing up in church. My prayer request is two part. One; for these blessings that are my babies find Jesus and have a real relationship with him. Two; I am feeling a lot lost and empty. I feel like my heart is too hard and cannot feel the things of Christ, how Christ sees people and his world. I don’t think I have a real relationship with Christ and so much desire this. I feel I use my head to be a Christian and my heart is a huge cold stone that is not involved. Makes me sad and very scared that I will not be at the side of our saviour when the time comes.
