My husband and I are traveling to another state tomorrow to meet with church leaders and their congregation to see whether my husband is the right fit to pastor this congregation. My husband will speak Wednesday night and we’ll stay through Sunday when he will preach before the entire congregation. Other opportunities in different types of ministry are opening up besides this church, but we want God’s Choice for where he will serve. My husband is retiring from active-duty military chaplaincy and this would be our first church after serving in the military over twenty years. Both of us are 58 years old, but believe God isn’t finished with us yet. I also want prayer for the healing of my voice so I can sing again the songs God has given me over the years. I can hear the music arranged and sung by choirs in my mind-want God’s will for this too! Thank you for prayers!
