House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer is intensifying his investigation into the coverup of President Biden’s cognitive decline. Most recently, he sent letters requesting interviews to five top officials from the Biden White House.

These officials must reportedly agree to appear by June 11, with testimony taking place in July. Representative Comer has threatened to subpoena in the event that the officials refuse. The Daily Caller also details the close relationship these officials have with the former President, highlighting them as some of his closest advisors:

Reed was a chief of staff during Biden’s vice presidency and worked with then-Senator Biden to pass the 1994 crime bill. Richetti was also a chief of staff for Biden when he was vice president.

Klain, another former chief of staff to Vice President Biden, reportedly told author Chris Whipple earlier this year that Biden seemed “out of it” during preparations for the presidential debate and “couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was.” Klein later seemed to back off these assertions, telling Politico, “My point wasn’t that the president lacked mental acuity. He was out of it because he had been sidelined not because he lacked capacity.”
