My very existence hurts. I want to be loved. I have a history of self harm and suicidal behaviour-I have hidden it very well and I promise I am not out for attention! God brought me through a really low point last year wherein I ended up with police and mental health services involved. My marriage is not great. I so badly want to be what God wants me to be. I beg his intervention, I hate HATE the sin within me and I know what the bible says but I still feel like it’s for everybody else and that what I have to offer is not good enough and that I can’t repent enough for him to accept me. I totally understand what Paul said about wanting to do the right but constantly do what is wrong. I can’t understand how God can accept me and begin saving me when I continually let him down again. I feel past salvation yet am terrified of loosing it. I need him so so SO desperately I want to let myself go into despair for his not replying, for not stopping the way I feel or helping me change. He changes so many lives why why doesn’t he just change mine?! There’s a psalm that I completely relate to at the moment, psalm 51. I hate myself and my sin and totally completely acknowledge my need for him-so why do things not change, why do I not change?! How can I be a Christian and still feel this way?! Am I a Christian at all?!

I pray she will keep listening and understanding who you are and how very much you love us who are all totally unworthy. Heal her pains. Help her speak back to doubts the words of truth of your forever love. Help her know she can never fall out of your hands. Surround her with a hedge of protection against the accusations of the evil one. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. You have come to bring abundant life and love. Help her hold on to you. The struggle is real and intense. In this world we will have tribulations, but be of good cheer Peter said. Help her choose to love and forgive each day. Remind her of our brothers and sisters who have gone before us who were persecuted to the point of blasphemy. You have been merciful to us. Our trials that flip us out are light afflictions compared to the glory ahead. Help her hold on. She will be there with us and with You, our Lord, our Savior. Amen
August 19, 2018 at 9:55 pmAs “davis3222shirley1” says, the devil only ever comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus also said, in John 8:44 “When [the devil] speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for HE IS A LIAR and the father of it” Please don’t believe his lies.
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light [especially the light of Truth] as [God] is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son CLEANSES US from ALL sin [past, present, and future]”
So, Lord God Almighty, I ask that You would expose the lies of the enemy, and reveal the TRUTH of Your Word to “veryfroggy”. Please cause “veryfroggy” to realise that just as there was nothing ANY of us could do to “earn” salvation, there is nothing “veryfroggy” can do, or fail to do, that can lose that salvation. Thank You Father, that JESUS already did EVERYTHING needed to acquire salvation for EVERYONE who accepts Him as their Saviour and Lord, and our Christian walk is not based on performance, but on our relationship to/with You – You are our Daddy, and we are Your kids. Please help ALL of us to trust You and Your love, and Your Word of Truth. AmenAugust 23, 2018 at 11:39 pmLord, surround our hurting souls with Your Peace that’s beyond all understanding! Help us to learn how to stop the lies of satan and learn how to surround ourselves with You! We accept Your loving arms that gently cradle us in Your peace and strength. Give us a new heart that clears a crowded mind and lift us to rest in Your arms. Speak for us Lord and direct our steps for we know not what we do. Guide us in our inequity and lead us into Your Purpose for our lives. We trust in You, Jesus! Lead the way … we are listening for Your soft guidance. We trust in You, Father! Amen
August 24, 2018 at 12:35 amLord, just as You send Phillip to minister and explain your word to the Ethiopian Eunuch I pray Lord for a discipler for veryfroggy to explain the truth of Your word in the power of Your Holy Spirit. and to be an accountability partner. Remove misunderstanding and replace with understanding and acceptance of Your great and precious promises found in scriptures critical of which is that You love with an everlasting love and nothing under creation will ever bring separation from such love. Your son Jesus Christ died that he/she can have life and have it more abundantly. Jesus Christ died for past, present and future sins and the believer stand forgiven and sin no longer has dominion in that mortal body but there is life the Holy Spirit who lives within to equip, enable and empower. Cause him to speak Your word of truth over his life . Strengthen him to resist the devil who will flee. Lord cause him to recognise that the weapon of his warfare is not carnal but mighty through You for the pulling down of stronghold. Cause him to accept that he has the mind of Christ . Cause him to put on Your whole armor as detailed in the book of Ephesians and cause him to walk in power, might and declare the whole counsel of God because he is victorious in the might of the Holy Spirit and not a victim. Sealed with the Holy Spirit of truth until the day of redemption in the name of Jesus, Cause him to rejoice in the Holy Spirit. Accept Your salvation and that he shall not die but live to declare the goodness and love of God and become living witness of Your truth glory and might. The enemy comes to steal and destroy and is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Help him oh Lord to replace the lies of the enemy with Your truth. Give discipline oh Lord to study Your word daily and speak them in his life in the mighty name of Jesus. Alleluia to the son of God amen.

October 1, 2018 at 4:19 amYou are unbelievably loved. Say it, out loud. God will begin to change your thoughts as you daily turn to Him. It takes 6 months of positive thinking to get out of the pit of negative thoughts. Each time you feel depressed, say “I am unbelievably loved,” feel the love of God wash over you. Here’s the great part, you will feel this way again, automatically in six months, because God designed your brain to remember those emotions. You can change your thoughts and feelings for the better. October 26, 2018 at 1:00 amHe knows every part of you and hair on your head and holds your tears in his hand. He loves you with an everlasting love. The cross has cleansed and healed you. Trust in Him and his promises with all your heart. Search his Word for all the mentions of joy and I pray you see His mercies are new every morning.
