Dad in the hosital

    Hello friends, I would appreciate your prayers for my Dad, Brad, who went to the ER last night and was transferred to my city for a specialist. They aren’t quite sure what is wrong but he has been very weak and nauseous for a week. His white blood cell count is very low so the concern is keeping him from any kind of infection as well as trying to figure out what is going on.

    Thank you for your prayers of healing, protection, and against loneliness during the night! I am thankful to be near enough to visit today and tomorrow.

    Precious Lord, Creator of each human as a unique being, we come to you this night on behalf of Brad who is now hospitalized with an unknown illness. We pray for comfort for Brad, and freedom from anxiety about the source of his illness. Grant him rest this night, and the sweet assurance that you are nearby. We pray that you will guide the physicians who examine and treat him with the knowledge and wisdom they need to diagnose and treat Brad. Give Brad’s family peace that you are in control of what is happening with their father. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon Brad and inhabit his hospital room so that all who enter will have a sense of the your divine presence and your peace that surpasses all understanding.

    Abba, Father! Your Name is Holy. We stand in awe of You. We lift up Brad to You and ask for wisdom and discernment – that You would reveal to the doctors what ails him. We give You thanks Lord, for healing Brad. We trust You Lord! Praise Your Name!

    For hello4 Dear Father we thank you for the peace and comfort that only You can provide during this time. For hello4’s dad, we pray that he draws close to you as never before. We pray that he find comfort and reassurance in You. For those that are called upon in the medical field to minister to hello4’s dad, we ask that You give them wisdom and insight to make a proper diagnosis and prescribed treatment. May there be no side effects from medication and may this dad’s stay be free from any additional trauma.
    We pray for his timely release and that he will recover. Even now may he give You praise and adoration. May he lift up a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving for what You are doing and have already done.
    Thank you for your grace, heavenly Father in giving hello4 and those that know you all they need to weather this storm. To You be the glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.

    Today Lord, as the sun rises, we rise to bring our brother, Brad, before You humbly asking for Your healing touch on his body. Give wisdom to his doctors and medical team to know what is causing his symptoms and to find an appropriate treatment. Give Brad the calm assurance that he is in Your hands and in Your care while in the hospital. Keep him company during the night hours when no one is allowed to visit. We look forward to him being able to return home soon. ~gail
