March 24, 2017 at 8:08 pmFeeling disconnected as we use to be very close. Raised in our christian home, and now living with her boyfriend for 3 years.
Feeling lost…She is 28 yrs old, and understand she is an adult.
Would appreciate prayer on how to reconnect.
Thanks

March 24, 2017 at 10:17 pmPraying for you brother Peter. Will pray this week that others here and where you live could offer some advice. Jesus knows what to do and has a plan, he is working behind the scenes and will not fail you. Give him all your worry and concern through pray and have joy in worship knowing God knows how you feel and will help you in this. I pray in Jesus name and have you in the prayer diary. God bless your weekend. Your brother in Christ Andy.

March 24, 2017 at 11:00 pmDear Friend,
I am sorry for what you are facing as a parent. I am a parent and truly empathize with you. Here is my suggestion please try it out:
Call your daughter and offer her an invitation to your place. She can come over with her boyfriend . Basically you are showing them that you love them regardless of the sin. Start some dialogue with her boyfriend example … now that you and my daughter love each other , what are your plans for future ? Are you planning on getting married and having a family? ( Now based on his response you will know the way forward). You as a parent will know if this BF truly loves your daughter or not. Aim here is to get them to the right track ( be very gracious in your conversation) because honestly they are on the wide road that leads to destruction. We as God’s children ALWAYS get off track and God weeps over us and longs for us to get back to track before the enemy destroys us. I pray that Jesus will shower you with so much grace and you in turn will be gracious to your daughter.
I truly pray that your daughter can get to see the lie of the enemy and how much pain this is causing you.
God is faithful and truly can set these 2 free! I know He can so I am staying positive. Don’t lose hope my brother.
Yours in Christ

March 25, 2017 at 4:58 amFather,
Thank you for being with Peter at this time, missing his daughter, not sure what to do to connect. Thank you for the wisdom you provide whenever we are in need, and that You will anoint Peter with Your Spirit who will give him the right ideas that will lead to connection. And, Lord, comfort Peter as he waits, realizing that with You leading the way, he can trust you to bring the right people in to his daughter’s life, that she will reflect on the times when she loved being connected with her dad, and Lord, that the longing you plant in her heart will be acted upon in our way, in your timing and according to your will through Christ, I pray, amen.Peter,
Love her, accept her adulthood, and you stay close to Jesus, asking that He give you His words for her when you two do connect. Love covers a multitude of sins and knows no limit. Prayers will continue.graciepierrePrayers: 4Requests: 1

March 25, 2017 at 4:55 pmThank you Shiela,Michaela, Andy, Raspberry flower, and Audries, for your prayers. My daughter was here a few nights ago, but didn’t last very long, as she walked out and we haven’t heard back since. I am prayer for wisdom, the right words…
I feel a sense of peace and know its only thru your prayers that I am able to write this and be vulnerable.

March 25, 2017 at 7:27 pmDear Peter ,
As a parent you have tried so hard and I am sure God knows it . May the Holy Spirit lead her back to the truth .This is really a spiritual warfare and prayers can change this situation around . I suggest also fasting bcoz some wars cannot be won by prayer alone .
I sure will be praying for your daughter and will personally fast 1 or 2 meals to get her back .
What is her name ?
God bless you .

March 25, 2017 at 9:48 pmPraying for your daughter Psalm 135: 1-24 rembering how well God knows her: that he knows her thoughts, when she rises up or sits down, the path she takes and all her ways, he even knows what word she will say before she speaks. He is the only one who will know her like this as her perfect Heavenly Father. He watches over her and will gently show her his path, he will never leave her and he knows how important she is to you.
I pray that you you would seek your Heavenly Father in this time, for he says be still and know that I am God, I pray that in knowing him you would be able to trust him in this period of waiting, in my situation which is opposite, my relatioship with God has changed so much, so whilst I mourn for my earthly relationship my relationship with God has given me the most joy I have felt in my life. I pray that in this pause you are experiencing that God would take your relationship with him to a whole new level.
Remember this verse for you in this situation: Deutraonomy 31:8 – It is for you this day:
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”I ask all these prayers in Jesus name.

March 26, 2017 at 5:14 amThanks for your thoughts and prayers. I do not feel comfortable giving out my daughters name, and trust you will understand.
She is our only child, and whole heartedly agree with Psalm 135:1-24. I would need to write an ‘epistle’ to explain….but in a nutshell, she is a gift from God. We believe that he will not leave us, and we hold onto his promises, that he is always present, even with our daughter.
Blessings
