Daughter with MRSA

    Dear prayer warriors, please pray for our daughter, Elizabeth, who has been diagnosed with a MRSA infection twice after her recent cesarean giving birth to her second child. The baby is doing very well, but Elizabeth began feeling pain after she returned home so the doctor cleaned out the incision every day for over a week and prescribed an antibiotic which worked well. After that round ended, she started feeling pain again and the emergency room doctor told her the infection was back. Started the antibiotic again, and was told that the infection is superficial, which is a good sign. This morning her doctor gave her new instructions as to how to care for it. Please pray for God’s complete healing for her. Thank you so much and have a blessed and Happy New Year.

    Father in heaven, Bless this mother with life, and health, and the joy of raising her child. I pray this hospital will be clean again and not spread this dangerous infection. I pray this doctor will be honest and careful. Bless this father with strong faith. Bless these grandparents with a long time with this daughter and grandchild. We look to You for the lives of this precious child and his mother. In Jesus name

    Thank you so much for your prayers. Elizabeth started to get better with the second ground of antibiotic but today the incision was again painful and red. Please continue to pray for wisdom for the doctors, for her body to respond well to the medications, and for complete healing. I will continue to keep you posted. God bless you!

    Heavenly Father, I pray for the complete healing of this invasive bacterial infection. I pray wisdom for the physicians who are managing her care, and I pray that no one in her household contacts this dangerous and chronic condition. We praise you for the gift of life, and for the gift of medical facilities that know how to manage this infection that unfortunately is often contracted in medical facilities.
