July 2, 2023 at 10:10 amA Deck of Cards A young soldier was in his bunkhouse all alone one Sunday morning over in Afghanistan. It was quiet that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn’t made any noise. The young soldier knew it was Saturday, the Sabbath, the holiest day of the week. As he was sitting there, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk. Just then an army sergeant came in and said, “Why aren’t you with the rest of the platoon?” The soldier replied, “I thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord.” The sergeant said, “Looks like you’re going to play cards.” The soldier said, “No sir, you see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this country, l’ve decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards.” The sergeant asked in disbelief, “How will you do that?” “You see Sergeant: β’ The Ace, it reminds me that there is only one God. β’ The Two represents the two parts of the Bible, Old and New Testaments. β’ The Three represents the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. β’ The Four stands for the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. β’ The Five is for the five virgins of the original ten that were glorified. β’ The Six is for the six days it took God to create the Heavens and Earth. β’ The Seven is for the day God rested after working the six days. β’ The Eight is for the family of Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives whom God saved from the flood that destroyed the earth for the first time. It reminds us of new beginnings. β’ The Nine is for the lepers that Yeshua cleansed of leprosy. He cleansed ten but nine never thanked Him. β’ The Ten represents the Ten Commandments that God handed down to Moses on tablets made of stone. β’ The Jack is a reminder of Satan. One of God’s first angels, but he got kicked out of heaven for his sly and wicked ways and is now the joker is condemned to eternal hell. β’ The Queen stands for the mother of the promised Jewish Messiah of Israel. β’ The King stands for Yeshua, for He is the King of all kings. β’ When I count the dots on all the cards, I come up with 365 total, one for every day of the year. β’ There are a total of 52 cards in a deck, each card represent a week, 52 weeks in a year. β’ The four suits represents the four seasons: Summer, Spring, Winter and Fall. β’ Each suit has thirteen cards, there are exactly thirteen weeks in a quarter. “So when I want to talk to God and thank Him, I just pull out this old deck of cards and they remind me of all that I have to be thankful for.” The sergeant just stood there and after a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said, “Soldier, can I borrow that deck of cards?” Please let this be a reminder and take time to pray for all of our soldiers and those in the Kingdom who are away on duty, putting their lives on the line fighting for us. Share this with others so that we can have a multitude praying for our soldiers, for all those in authority, and for our country. America, Bless God! AMEN Gods Chosen OneGA π€²πππ€²πππππ€²π€²πππ

July 2, 2023 at 1:49 pmWhat a beautiful reminder for this holiday week devoted to our freedom through the blood and sacrifice of our forefathers! May we continually pray for those who have obeyed God to enter the service and fight for our freedom, past, present and future! May we also pray for the Lordβs divine intervention to protect our nation against those who seek to destroy it from without and within! Praying He has mercy on us and our children, and He will defeat all evil that is trying to destroy our religious heritage and freedom! In the precious and strong name above all names, Jesus Christ, amen! πππποΈποΈποΈβ¨β¨β¨β₯οΈβ₯οΈ

July 2, 2023 at 2:50 pmThat message was from an elderly member of my Encouragers Sunday School Class today. It moved me so I got a copy so I could share and bless those in our dab community. Iβm glad it blessed you. Please pray for our service men and women and their families. What a sacrifice that they gave us the freedom we so freely enjoy which must not be taken for granted. Blessings GCOGA π€²π€²π€²ππππ
