CronicKnitter365Prayers: 0Requests: 1
May 2, 2023 at 12:46 pmFrist time asking for prayer in eight yrs using DAB. Past few months my depression (the enemy) has gotten worse in the sense that I don’t end up doing any of the three small knitting project, the other things I need to be doing. I manage to keep my small apartment tidy and keep waiting on patience for God’s timing. I just lay about under a blanket and day dream of a better life, of escaping. I am finding it hard to find the joy in things, the contentment in things. I know what the Word says and I feel I am just meant to hang in, pray and trust Jesus. But I can’t break the sofa riding. Every where I turn and do seems to fail and I’m not having any luck finding work after 20yrs of not working. I know it’s a sin to complain and I’m sorry. Any prayers for change would be greatly appreciated. 💚

May 2, 2023 at 4:00 pmHeavenly Father, we come before you with hearts full of adoration and praise. We thank you for the gift of faith and for the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ. We lift up this believer who is struggling with depression, and we ask that your healing touch would be upon them.
Lord, we pray that you would give them the strength to endure this season and that they would find comfort in the knowledge that they are not alone. We pray that you would grant them the wisdom to know how to seek help and that you would lead them to the right people and resources to assist them in their journey.
We ask that you would renew their mind and transform their thoughts, so that they may have the mind of Christ and experience the fullness of your love and grace. May they be filled with the joy of the Lord, which is their strength, and may they experience the peace that passes all understanding.
Lord, we pray that they would not lose hope or faith in you, but that they would continue to press on toward the goal of knowing Christ and experiencing the power of his resurrection. We thank you that in you, there is always hope, there is always healing, and there is always victory.
We adore you, Lord, for your never-ending love and faithfulness. May your name be praised now and forevermore. Amen.
