August 11, 2017 at 7:41 pmI’m going through menopause & it’s messing with me big time. I’ve had depression for most of my life & anxiety the past 4 years. But these mood swings are throwing me for a loop. The simplest of decisions are so hard to make. I worry over so much & am in fear a lot of the time. I dont want to eat, my tummy is in a constant state of queasyness. I also have 3 teens that all have intense personalities & adhd. I know God is with me but he seems so far away right now. I know he’s growing me through this but I don’t want to grow!! I’d like to just curl up in a ball & ignore life but that’s not an option.
Oh Lord I need you! I’m so tired of fighting these issues. I want to be content, I want to give you my worries, I want to live victoriously but I can’t seem to let any of that go. God I pray for others out there dealing with this as well. I love you Lord & I’m clinging to your promise to never leave me. In Jesus name, amensoundyaaPrayers: 3085Requests: 12
August 11, 2017 at 8:43 pmDear Alane,
Sorry to hear about these difficulties. I found myself at the start of the year being overwhelmed to my lowest point and have been through a season which for years has been horrible, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. At my lowest I looked out my window each day and knew Jesus was there, standing close, I wanted to shout at him do something. But my great lesson was I need to go to him. I dropped everything in my life except my child care and developed a routine each day with him. In prayer, with DAB multiple times a day, with DAB friends on Facebook, with as much worship as I can get and praying for others. That changed my life, it didn’t change what was happening, but it made me able to cope, it made me want more of a relationship with Jesus, it changed all priorities and wants. So I believe Jesus wants you really close because he will stand behind you so close you can feel his presence and in that be strengthened, have his joy, feel able to cope. Trust me the evil works on any negative thought, any doubt, anything where he can get a foothold. Know I am praying for you and for your family, for you to cope and for God to be so close that you see everything differently and feel uplifted. God bless you. Your brother Andy in Christ.ShirleyDPrayers: 1067Requests: 2
August 13, 2017 at 1:40 amFather in Heaven, Send a helping hand to Alane so she may have some extra time with you . Time to talk, to listen to the word, to listen to you speaking to her heart. I pray her children will step up and take on a few more responsibilities while she heals from this condition. In Jesus Name

August 13, 2017 at 9:09 pmDear Alane: Thank you for your prayer request. I am so sorry to hear about this difficult time you’re going through. Father, I ask that you comfort Alane and assure her that You are with her and will indeed see her through. You will not leave her where she is. Help her to cast her cares on You because You care for her. May the effects of menopause ease and may Elane press on walking with You each moment and each day. May she depend fully on You. You are our hope. You are a very present help in times of trouble. Thank You for lifting Elane up. Thank You for her request. Thank You for making her ready to receive Your help, Your healing and Your relief. Thank You Jesus! Amen.
