Abba, Father! You are the God of Fathers and Sons! We cry out, Lord, for this father’s heart to be softened by Your Holy Spirit. Lord, we need Your intervention in a miraculous way. Help this father to prioritize building a relationship with his son rather than pushing him away. Open his eyes, O Lord, help him to see that his mindset is not of You. Give him a heart of repentance and renewal. Praise Your Name! Thank You Lord, for this dear wife who knows that prayer is key to a move of Your Spirit. Thank You Lord, for the privilege of prayer and lifting up this precious family to you. Yes, Lord we are eager to see how You work in the lives of this father and son and we look to You for the miracle to unfold. Alleluia! You are a good, good Father and oh so willing to show us Your Ways.

Father in heaven, I pray this husband will come to maturity in Christ. Stop him in his tracks when he is acting in the ways of the world. Help him ponder all of it when he lays down to sleep. Don’t let him continue on as if Christ has no power to help us. I Peter says You have given us everything we need to live a life that is pleasing to You. Don’t let him be satisfied with the childish beliefs he received when he was young. He is an adult now. He is the head, responsible for his wife and child. Work in his heart continually. Protect his son from depression, sadness and all the things those who have no power could experience from verbal abuse. Give him a strong group of godly Christian friends. In Jesus name
