Jesus we thank you that when we don’t know what to do, our eyes are upon you. Sometimes, letting go of control is the absolute hardest thing we can do. Admitting that we don’t know what’s next and that we do not know how to get out of the mess we are in is exactly what we must go through in order to meet You. Jesus we look around us and see things closing in, but you come to us and invite us to look UP! You are coming in and rescuing us. You save us from the outs of despair and you deliver us from our enemies. It is by YOUR HAND that we are redeemed, and it is through the fires of life that we are refined by God. Yes we all want peace and comfort, but we won’t know eternal peace until the other side of this life. Through our suffering, and suffering alongside Christ, we meet Jesus as more than a God but as a FRIEND. As our helper. As our counselors. We meet God as our FATHER, not just as a ruler of the universe. God wants to invite you into communion, and He wants to meet you exactly where you are right now. He is not afraid of your sin, he does not come to you with condemnation. Jesus appears to you with an outstretched hand, offering you protection, rest, and blessing. Go to Him. Invite Him in and accept His perfect and unconditional love for you. Even in the layoffs, He has a plan for you. Even in the discouragement, He is making a way for you. Even in the uncertainty, He is working this together for your good. He wants more than your servanthood. He wants to converse with you. He wants your heart. Speak to him, tell him how you feel, ask him to speak back. God wants to CONNECT with us and for us to rely on him for our every single need. It is his pleasure and blessing and delight to give us more than enough. Though things may seem hard right now, and we feel that our sun disqualifies us from Gods victory, the truth is that God is waiting for you exactly in this present place, and He wants to transform you, so there is no question of whom this victory in your life belongs to. Not by power, not by might, but by His spirit. In Jesus name we pray, amen

God,
Your never surprised at the circumstances of our lives. When one door shuts, Your always faithful to open a new one for us. Father, praying this lay-off is just a stepping stone to brighter days ahead. Praying any heavenizes of heart over this momentary set back, along with any personal struggles with sin and addiction be transformed by Your faithful love, into a new beginning which includes freedom from the demons that seek to hold our brother in CHRIST ✝ in bondage through these issues. Thank You Father, for You are the “Great One” who lives inside of Jarred. Thank You also, that these weapons that have been formed against him shall not prosper according to Your WORD 📖….
