Divorce Trial

    Please pray for my brother and his soon to be ex-wife, who’s trial is scheduled for July 24. Pray for a fair trial and that the Judge can see truth. Pray that their son is protected from the craziness. Thank you!

    Abba, Father! Holy is Your Name! We seek Your kingdom and to do Your will as it is done in heaven. O Lord, this dear brother and his wife are seeking divorce. As You know, O Lord, it is going to trial – and their son, Your son needs Your protection and guidance from this trauma so far. O Lord, there is only a little bit of time left but You are a God of Mercy. Is there anyway that these two can be reconciled? O Lord, only You know. We look with eyes from the outside but You O Lord, can see the heart. We come before Your Throne weeping because we know that You hate divorce. Open the eyes of this couple to Your Truth and allow them to see You as You are, O Lord. Holy, Righteous, Just, Omniscient, Omnipotent. May they seek You with all of their hearts and understand that it is no small thing to break their vows. Bring Your Peace and Consolation to their hearts and minds as they come to understand Truth. We LOVE You Lord, and thank You for Your divine intervention in this situation. Praise Your Name!

    Heavenly Father, we look to you to be the Judge in this trial so that there is an outcome that is totally within your will. We pray that even though this litigation may be contentious, you can find a way to pour out your Holy Spirit and disperse a spirit of harmony and compromise in this courtroom so that the witness of no saint is harmed in the process. We know that divorce is so difficult, and the experience can cause an erosion of faith and an escalation of emotions. But you, Lord, are greater than anger and frayed emotions! We pray for the supernatural to govern this proceeding. Father, we pray for your love to fall on both of the people involved in this divorce, These are your children, and you created both of them in your image. We pray that you would anoint the new paths this man and this woman will soon be following. Draw both of them to you as their Lord and Savior. Imbue them with a spirit of humility and compromise. Father, bless you for your compassion on all of your children.

    Jesus, I lift up my brother now and ask for your supernatural protection. Thank you for my two warriors above who are standing in the gap for us. I pray for peace and calm within the storm. We pray for truth to prevail and no deprecation of character. I pray that Judge Honeycutt can see through the lies and slander to see the heart of the matter. We are looking to you father God for strength. I pray that you would speak through us because without you we are just a sounding gong blowing in the wind. You bring purpose and clarity to our lives. Thank you Jesus . We give you all the glory. I love you!
