May 12, 2023 at 2:33 amI’m exhausted and generally tired of everything.
It feels like when I make some kind of progress, I fall down an abyss of frustration and depression.
I’m ill and self medicating with malaria medicine because that’s most likely what I have.
We haven’t had electricity for a couple of days and the heat gets unbearable at night.
My uncle and his wife’s don’t treat their toddlers well and it’s upsetting. They ignore them and tell at them and act like they’re a nuisance. I’ve learned to ignore it but I do pray that God shows them the damage they’re causing.
There are many other things going on and with the way I feel physically, I’m just tired of everything.
I’m not suicidal but I have some thoughts of disappearing. I don’t know what to pray for and I don’t really want to pray. I just wanted to share with someone.sparrowPrayers: 10294Requests: 19
May 12, 2023 at 4:20 amFather in heaven, we know how distant it feels when we are ill and exhausted. I pray for healing for Av from this malaria like illness. I pray she will be able to sleep. May she have a song to refresh her spirit. I pray for this uncle and aunt to have wisdom in raising their children quietly. May they also come to know Christ as Savior and Lord. I pray for Av, when she is recovered, to be able to tell these children Bible stories. Maybe that is not possible, You would know. Lord, a lot of people turn to virtual reality to escape, to disappear. May she be renewed in Christ her living reality, her Saviour. In Jesus name

May 12, 2023 at 4:55 amWe must realize we walk by faith not sight or feeling, what are you filling your mind with? God didn’t promise life wouldn’t be stormy, but He gave us a guide and a boat. I personally not only listen to DAB and DABC, I also turn on my Bible app and just let the word be spoken into my ears, or I listen to sermons on YouTube, or worship music. We must be intentional in what we allow into our minds and realize not every thought is our own or that of our Father. If it’s not inline with what His word says and it’s not something we want to think about then it’s just a lie from the enemy. I pray peace over your mind and I pray you will do some of these things cast out the negative never let it leave your lips and focus on the word. Peace in Jesus name Amen

May 12, 2023 at 3:41 pmBeloved of the LORD dear sister Av, If your having trouble talking to God or (praying) then, “forgive me for being blunt” why not get your nose in the (BOOK)📖 and have Him talk to you. Time spent in the WORD is time spent in God’s presence…. I’m in agreement with our DAB sibling BuckeyeBrandon. There are many thoughts that will pass through our minds on any given day, not all of which are ones that we should be giving credence to. The way to be certain that what we think lines up with God’s WORD is to spend enough quality time in the WORD of God so we are so familiar with the WORD of God that we learn to recognize when a thought doesn’t line up with His WORD. The WORD of God is our anchor, it’s what holds us when the storms of life rage. It’s the WORD of God that speaks to us in the night season when we are asleep. It’s the WORD of God that instructs us in the day time and teaches us how to conduct our lives in such a way that our lives are pleasing to the LORD. The WORD of God gives us balance, and keeps us on a steady course so that we don’t get off into a ditch. God’s WORD is what He uses to mature us, and to renew our minds to His way of thinking. Av, it really is all about His WORD, the more time we dedicate to reading and studying God’s WORD, the more we will begin to think like and act like the one who Authored the BOOK📖 in the first place. The more time we pursue God’s holy WORD, by reading, listening, and declaring it out loud give us less time to be thinking about anything else. The more time we spend fellowshipping with the LORD around His WORD, will bring us to the place where we become more familiar with His voice. After all, isn’t this where we want to be, In the place of constant communion with our LORD and Creator, the Author and finisher of our faith. I agree with our DAB friend, taking in the WORD of God into our ears and eyes until it gets into our hearts, (Pv. 4:20-23) with all the ways made available to us these days is a very wise thing to do. Staying focused on the WORD keeps us from focusing on any other thought that may be contrary to the WORD of God. Doing so will get our focus off of ourselves and our own problems, and onto the problem solver in stead. Time in our Bible’s is time that is well spent indeed. It has been said that we are what we eat. There is much truth in the saying. When we have a steady diet of the WORD of God, when we — eat the WORD, we will begin to absorb the spiritual nutrients that are necessary to producing the spiritual fruit that supernaturally comes from time spent in the WORD. Try shifting your focus and get your mind (your thoughts) off of what’s producing an undesired crop in your life, and in turn, do what the WORD of God says to do (think on these things) (Phil. 4:8) “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, “think on these things.” Thank God for his WORD. It always helps when believed, and received, and then acted upon in faith. I know this went long, hope this helps more that hurts. Praying for you sister Av.
Many BLESSINGS! In Him. 💓
