Behold a sonPrayers: 21Requests: 22
January 2, 2017 at 10:43 pmHi I am 30 years old Father of 2 boys ages 11 and 13 I’ve been clean of drinking and using for a lil over a month with no desire to use. About 2 years ago I wasn’t sure if God exist but that’s when I began to feel his pull on my heart at a time when I was at my lowest and in total confusion. I felt like I had no one at all who can understood me both before and after I heard Gods call, I struggled with the signs and pull on my heart for a couple months before finally giving myself completely over to Jesus that is when everything started to fall in place I still used for almost the next year but was in God’s word daily becoming more familiar with the Holy Spirit and the Bible until I finally stopped using any drug and drinking all together and began going to church. 2 months ago I couldn’t go into the market because was overwhelmed with anxiety and I couldn’t talk to my mother or anyone without blowing up and yelling, now the anxiety is gone I’m not mad scared or confused and have NO craving to use drugs or drink at all, I’m excited to wake up everyday so I’m telling you all this because if I can find my way thru Jesus then there is hope and I’m praying daily for all that are lost as I was that they be found just as I am in Christ Jesus. Just tell em Be strong, don’t ever give up or lose hope and ALWAYS remember IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD AND TRUE REPENTANCE CAN SAVE US!

January 3, 2017 at 2:35 amParts of your story is very similar to mine regarding past use and the path through becoming clean and anxiety. My prayers are with you, and together let’s pray for all who are struggling. Clarity can be frightening at first, and very strange. You are correct in saying that it is all about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!!!!

January 4, 2017 at 3:12 amThanks for the support and congratulations on being clean and finding Jesus, “for I once was lost but now I’m found”
Yes it does take a lil getting used to being sober and clear minded I’ve had periods of sobriety in the past but non thru Jesus so all were dull and always had craving to alter my mind but not this time “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun” NLT 2Cor. 5:17. It feels like my life has just begun, like before I was just here going thru the motions but dead inside and now I feel reinvigorated.
Since I’m fairly new to all of this and learning my gifts and strengths in Christ this is what I can contribute now my testimony for hope and my prayers for all that are still lost trying to find their way. Please if anyone is going thru anything similar to this and your feeling hopeless confused and alone maybe thinking about ending it all I BEG YOU STOP RIGHT THERE! YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND THERE IS HOPE THRU CHRIST JESUS, HE GAVE OUR LIFE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE ONE PLEASE ONCE YOU GRASP THE SIGNIFICANCE OF WHAT HE CHOSE TO DO FOR YOU & ME YOU’LL REALIZE JUST HOW SPECIAL AND IMPORTANT YOU ARE. “God gives power to those who or tired or worn out, and he offers strength to the weak”
