March 10, 2016 at 10:00 pmLord I come to you and ask that you change the hearts of my three sons and husband to turn to You. Lord at this moment they are not believers and I pray for their souls – I don’t want them to miss the opportunity of Your Love. Also Lord there is lots of hurt in my family and marriage, I am asking Lord for a mighty healing. Thank you so much Father for all you do for me on a daily basis.

March 11, 2016 at 3:09 pmFather, I suspect this is the prayer of many wives… and husbands who’ve begun a path of holiness without their family. It usually happens this way- 1 person learns of your goodness Lord and repents, button others in the household still have yet to turn from their own path to yours.
For Laura and anyone going through this, I pray for patience. May they realize that their actions as a Christian can greatly influence their family to eventually follow God or permanently turn away from godly things.
Does the believer walk in love? Or are they argumentive in their home- always unhappy and complaining? The believer should focus on changing themselves into the image of Christ, getting rid of bad attitudes, moods, foul language, uncalled for anger, or anything that has nothing to do with love. When family members see an authentic change where the believer now responds to situations with peace instead of the usual anger, then they’ll know God is real, and they’ll want that change for themselves.
Laura continue to pray for your family. It may take years, but God will do a mighty work. In the meantime, don’t worry whether they’ll turn to God or not. Christ says those that are His will never be lost out of His hands. During the wait, it may get lonely in your household with no one to fellowship with, but in those times, be of good cheer because you have believers here to converse with.
To the Father in the name and blood of the Son. ?
