Father, I ask that you help soften my sisters heart towards her stepsons. Heal the pain that was caused to her, and please use this to taker her deeper in her friendship with you. You also know how it feels to be unjustly accused, but you had the strength to say “father forgive them for they know not what they do”. Please give my sister some of that same strength today. Help her to see that forgiveness does not mean justifying wrong behavior, but it is grace given when a behavior was wrong. I thank you Lord that her stepsons were able to see at some point that they were wrong and then took the steps to acknowledge that through and apology. Help them see how they can continue to heal this relationship on their end as well. I also ask that as the family heals, you use the miracle of that healing to open her husbands eyes to your hand in it. Sometimes circumstances in life speak louder than words…let these circumstances speak loud and clear of you truth, kindness, and compassion. Last but not least, I ask that you heal this man, renew life in him so that he is able to be here to see the restoration of his wife and sons. Give him health to be able to enjoy a connected family once again. And give my sister encouragement and hope as she cares for her husband through this. In Jesus Name Amen

May I clarify that when this conflict /hurt happens and we are deeply hurt… we must acknowledge the pain and not pretend … but when we get understanding why we/I was sooo defensive & hurt & see where that comes from ( usually past situations that weren’t dealt with)..we can ask God to heal us in that area so we then can move on and these conflicts won’t devistate us and we can respond/reply with love for others who are also hurting…
