Dear Dabber’s,
Please pray for my 90 year old Father and my Mother. My Dad is in the 2nd stage of Alzheimer’s. This disease has taken a brilliant Christian man and makes him at times combative and impossible to reason with. I treasure every day with him even the bad ones. It is an honor and privilege to help take care of him.
I am more concerned about how this affects my Mom. She is trying so hard to keep him at home. She will not take many breaks from him. Your prayers are treasured! Thank You and God Bless!Bo Staff

I pray the Holy Spirit will guide him through his days so he has peace. Restore what has been lost. Bless him with a heart full of love and joy. In Jesus name

I pray that your Father will be given the peace of the Holy Spirit, but I also pray for your Mother and caretakers as I know it’s very tiring and worrying to care for someone with this disease. I pray that she as strength and peace as well. I pray that you all find moments where your father is still your father and focus on those to get you through the times he is unable to respond to the Lord’s peace.
April 30, 2020 at 1:02 pmYes, Father, we bring this family before You as they deal with this difficult disease. Bring helpers to give mom a break, even for an hour or two, once a week. She needs some rest so heart and mind can be restored. May dad stop being combative, and move into cooperation. Bless each and every person involved. ~gail

We lift up this dad and mom to you. Lord, you made rest specifically for man, and we pray that you would remind this caring wife of the importance of rest. God we pray for the challenges of Alzheimer’s care, and the wisdom to make the difficult care decisions with this disease. I pray for peace today in their household.
