I had a chance to have sex with a woman I really liked. She has a bf but she was willing. As a man I feel like I did the wrong thing by not taking the opportunity, turning 28 without a wife isn’t fun and even though I made the biblical choice I feel as if I made the wrong choice and deeply regret it. Please pray for me that I feel better about this. I feel awful. I feel sick that I didn’t, as if I know God doesn’t have someone for me so I may as well have just taken the opportunity.

April 10, 2022 at 3:08 amAmen Lord to these wise words. Help him continue to fight the good fight. The devil is trying to weaken him so next time he will give in to his bondage. Help him fear God and want to honor God by obeying Him. Jesus said “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
“But He said, Blessed (happy and to be envied) rather are those who hear the Word of God and obey and practice it!”
Father, Please help him in this struggle and rescue him from the devil’s lies. Practicing what the devil suggests will only lead him farther away from loving you and reaping your blessings in his life. Instead of trusting that He is faithful to provide, we take our focus off God and try to figure what we can do to get the desired result by stepping out before Him. There can be negative consequences when this happens because God sees the whole picture and we do not.
Father, we thank You that Johnathon made the correct choice when faced with temptation. Give him strength, patience, faith, and trust to know that he can always rely on Your direction. You are the way-maker and will light the next step for us. Thank you for Your faithfulness. Amen.
