Hey DAB family. I’ve been fighting off a mild case of food poisoning for the last four days and though I’m not so terrible physically the struggle to keep my faith firm and keep myself from complaining or voicing doubts about God’s goodness through this has been taking a bit of a toll on me. The funny thing is I’m sure it’s from God because the very day I ate the bad food I’d waken up from a dream about a young woman throwing up profusely and being treated by triplet nurses (which I felt in the dream represented the Trinity). If this is the Lord purging me and testing my ability to praise Him through the storm as much as I’ve learned to thank Him after the storm then I pray and ask for prayer to stay strong. Help me in prayer, family, so that even in moments of discomfort I can use my energy, what little I have, to praise and trust Him independent of my current circumstances 🥺🙌🏼 let me come out the other side of this little faith checkpoint stronger and glad to have chosen Jesus even when my flesh screamed for me to pay more attention to my negative emotions. Amen
