Lord, we were designed to communicate with You and with each other. You give us relationships which matter, but help us to know that our relationship with You is the most important one. Help us to draw near to you and you promise you will draw near to us. Enable us to put you first and then know your direction and guidance in how we should relate to others. In this situation May your will be done on earth as in heaven. You know best and we pray that you will be sovereign over it all. Amen.

May God give you the strength, wisdom, and peace in dealing with this. I find people will all eventually disappoint, and I know I am not innocent of this. All relationships have a degree of difficulty. The hardest thing for me to do is to walk away from someone completely, or to set boundaries to protect myself. It is hard because I still love them, but sometimes it is the right thing to do for both of us. God’s blessings and peace are my prayer for you.
