Heavenly Father, I stand beside this broken-hearted husband, and I join him in his prayer for reconciliation with his wife. I pray in earnest for a miracle, a softening of his wife’s heart, a conviction on the heart of the wife’s new companion , a miraculous turning from sin to repentance. Father, this is not too big a thing for you to do! I pray for what seems impossible to our weak flesh and rational minds! I pray that the Holy Spirit fall upon my brother that he take no action that is outside your will and your guidance. I pray that the Holy Spirit fall upon his wife and her new companion, and that they be convicted of the error of their extramarital relationship. Turn their minds back to their former paths so that this couple can be reconciled. Let my brother show the love and gentleness of Christ as he and his wife take the long and difficult steps of reconciliation. Father, be the shining beacon of this home that the evil one have no victory in devastating these two lives and the home they had built together. Father, we look to you to teach all of us how to battle for the preservation of our homes as refuges of our souls and families.

Standing in agreement with these prayers. Kneeling in humility knowing that each and every one of us is subject to the attacks of the enemy. Today Father, work Your will, in Your way, at Your time, for Your glory in the lives of this husband and wife restoring them to Your godly design for their marriage. Help the husband do everything and more to win his wife’s love back. Help the wife be disgusted by the other man and his attentions, seeing clearly how her actions are very truly hurting her and her family. May they both, in humility and sorrow, turn back to You and back to each other. You can help them Lord, we know it! We believe in their marriage! We claim for them a godly, pure and holy marriage.
