September 14, 2023 at 7:11 amFor this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!ā 1 King 17:14 With a severe drought in the land, no income, no savings, and no food, a widow was preparing a last meal for herself and her son before their anticipated death when the prophet Elijah arrived and asked her for some bread. Based on Godās promise in todayās Scripture, she took a step of faith and made him bread from what little flour she had left. From that day forward, for three and a half years, the oil never ran out and the flour container was never empty. She had supernatural provision. She went from running out to running over. Every time God asks you to do a hard thing, that means thereās a big blessing coming. The obedience requires your trust, courage, and faith. Thoughts will tell you, āWhat good will that do?ā You have to fight off the doubt and negative thoughts. But when you choose to obey, when you do the right thing when itās hard, youāre setting yourself up for God to show out in your life, to see supernatural favor, supernatural healing, supernatural provision.

September 15, 2023 at 6:54 pmMalachi 3:8-12 ESV “Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, āHow have we robbed you?ā In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.” Thanks for the reminder, SD1. May we all test the LORD in this one way and see His promises fulfilled as we please Him in our step of faith and obedience to serve His kingdom and principles. Amen.
