Giving my life back to God

    For the pass few years my life has been a mess. First I had found out my wife was cheating on me. I was a youth pastor for a very long time. But a new pastor came in and did me very wrong ( its a long story). I haven’t been faith in going to church like I used to. I need the fire of God back down in my soul. I need help to forgive my wife and the Pastor. Most of all I need to get my butt back into church. DAB please pray for me. Thank you…

    Dear Brother,
    Over the coming weeks I will lift you in prayer. God bless you for your work in the church and for being a shepherd for God. I will pray that you can take steps that bring God close to you and that he would meet with you and you would have joy in him like a fire that changes you from the inside. I pray that you are able to go through processes that lead to forgiveness and that God is active in this. God bless you today. Praying now.

    My Brother in Christ,

    A broken spirit and a contrite heart , the Lord will not despise. For the years that you have felt so much far from God, He has been there waiting for you to return. Life has been a mess because the enemy of our soul cannot give you peace and when you are away from God you cease to experience his peace , presence and Joy.

    Ask God for Grace because without Grace it is impossible to forgive. The enemy here is not your Pastor or wife, the enemy here is Satan who used your wife and pastor in an effort to bring you down, to stop you from having fellowship with God , to try and destroy your testimony and as you know the final result of the enemy is to destroy you and anyone else through death ( complete separation from God).

    I ask you to look at your wife/ pastor through the eyes of Christ and have Grace to forgive them. The Lord will give you Grace if you ask for it. Remember if you fail to forgive anyone then clearly you will not be forgiven by God so this is a must based on what the Lord Jesus Christ has taught us. ( Read -Mathew 18:21-35)

    You will receive a new freedom once you release these two, because it is in releasing these two through forgiveness that the Lord God will answer your prayers and give you peace and forgive you as well. Remember I sin, you sin and we all sin ( this is not to make light of what you have experienced ,but to show you that we live in a fallen world where sin abounds – I pray for complete healing in your marriage)

    Everyday we must repent and be found blameless. This life is too short my brother, what lies ahead is an Eternity and I would hate for anyone to be forever separated from God because of unforgiveness ( many have believed that once saved always saved- this is a lie from the enemy )

    God is in control . Stay strong and know that He is willing to have you back in fellowship, so take the step of faith and come back to the father.

    Father God, we lift this brother up to you in prayer. You’ve seen his disappointment, feeling of betrayal, guilt from feeling bitter and unforgiving, and the list goes on. But You also see his good heart, his devotion to the kingdom, his longing to be happily worshiping You in church, his first love in Christ that You still see the embers for. We pray that you will ignite him once again in Holy Spirit. He’s got fire. Blow the wind of the Holy Spirit and make it bigger. Pour out the oil of the Holy Spirit and make it stronger. Speak gently to this brother in his dreams. Heal his wounded heart, make his heart big, and use him ever so mightily in Your kingdom.

    Brother, the Lord is not disappointed in you (my feelings). I think He has been with you in the place of pain and been proud of you in the good things you’ve done and the pure heart you tried to keep before God. Take heart. We’re here with you. Be blessed and don’t listen to lies. Blessings.
