August 19, 2022 at 7:09 amDAB family, please join me in giving thanks that our God is reconnecting broken families and protecting young people as they find their way to their place in building His kingdom. Our children (of any age) can be the avenue through which Satan tries to break our bond with Jesus. Thank Him for helping us remember that our children come through us, but they belong to Him. Be thankful that through our faith, belief and trust in God’s word, we are armed and able to stay in peace. In Jesus’ Holy name, Amen. Thank you Harden family for your ministry and obedience.

August 19, 2022 at 2:45 pmAlmighty God, we thank you for the blessing of children. You have taught us much through the challenges of parenting, giving us a glimpse of the joy and pain you feel as OUR Father. We commit our families to You, Lord, and when we are hurt or disappointed by the choices our loved ones make, things they do, or things they say, help us to rely on Your Word, that tells us to “train up a child…and when he is older, he will not depart from it.” When our children stray, may we claim that they will not harden their hearts forever, but will return to their upbringing, and find their way back to You, Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness, that they may live transformed lives as a witness to Your goodness and mercy. When our family relationships are strained, Father, give us patience and help us to look beyond the issues to know that this is the work of Satan, and to proclaim that he will not have the last say over anything…esp. our loved ones! May we find the delicate balance of standing firm and extending grace. Help us not to harbor bitterness, nor let our hearts stay heavy. Today and everyday, we commit ourselves, our marriages, our children, and extended families to You, Lord, and will continue to minister encouragement, and words of love and peace, to one another, that Christ may be glorified in and through us. We claim victory for our families, and entrust them to You, Our Savior and Redeemer. Thank You for never giving up on us, and for always providing a way back to You! Give us strength for the journey…in the name of Jesus we pray, AMEN!
