January 7, 2020 at 8:22 pmThe miracles God has worked in my family and for others I’ve met this year are absolutely beyond belief and I really must share.
I have four siblings and many nieces and nephews as well as a son and two grandchildren. Many years ago, our family went through tragically difficult times which led to my brother and one of my sisters becoming horribly addicted to drugs. Our family completely fell apart, and I moved hundreds of miles away. My sister became homeless and lost her children. My son lost his wife and children. The son of another sister went to prison. There honestly did not seem to be any way that anybody would ever be OK again.
Four years ago, I prayed for God to do whatever He needed to do to change me into the person He wanted me to be, no matter how badly it hurt. I said “you are the potter and I am the clay, Lord. Make me the vessel you want me to be.” God came into my life like a hurricane, and everything was turned completely upside down. It was painful. I was severely injured and then diagnosed with cancer. He caused things to happen in such a way that my husband and I were forced to give up our home and move back to be with my family. I never would have come back if God hadn’t forced it on us – we’ve lived in an RV in my dad’s yard for the past four years.
Since I moved home – my brother and his wife both got off of heroine and meth, got jobs and got their lives back together and got their children back. My brother, who would not let anybody so much as mention Jesus’ name near him, is actually connecting with God! My nephew got out of prison (he was 29 and had been in juvie or prison since about 10 years old) and got HIS life together and is doing very well at home and and work – amazingly well! This is the longest he’s ever been out of an institution and he’s thriving. He has wisdom I never would have expected to see in him. My sister that was homeless and on drugs has got off the streets and off of the drugs, has reunited with her children, and will be moving home in March! She is now a Christian!
I’ve seen amazing miracles at work – healings that never could have happened without prayer and God. Total “lost causes” who shouldn’t have survived, not only surviving but thriving.
Don’t ever give up, children of God! There is truly absolutely NOTHING that is impossible with God. Do not give up hope on your loved ones who seem to be lost forever. Pray, pray, pray and have faith!!
I would like to ask for one more person to come home to make this family complete – if you would not mind joining me in prayer, please send blessings to my son and his family and ask God to bring them home to us. Then our family will be complete.
Thank you DABBERS. I love you all. Thank you, Brian and Jill!!!
God is good!
